Working to a brief evaluation 

How your team worked well together?

We worked well together as a team not just individuals. We did everything as a team and we did it well. We talked about ideas well and we decided as a group which idea was the best we came up with and we decided everything well as a group and none of us were more in charge and bossy which is good. When bad things happen and things didn't happen or happened in a bad way we discussed it as a group to find a way around the obstacle that was blocking us from doing what we wanted in the idea. We couldn't find a actor so Lewis which was in our group offered to be the actor in the advertisement. We made the script as a group and we worked with all of the pre-production together. I would work with the same members of the team again if I have the chance because i think we worked very well with each other.. we all did an equal amount of work and not one of us did all of the work.


How I contributed?

I did a fair amount to the team but we all did about the same amount of work. My job was to use the camera and the sound when it came to the production side of the brief and also I worked on the pre-production and also I did the editing and the sound editing in the post production. Before the shoot for production i went to the location and I took pictures of the location of the shoot which was the toilets in the college and also the TV studio and also we can look around to see what we need to prepare for the locations and to also see health and safety and see what we could do to try and limit bad things happening.


Did we hit the brief?

I think to a certain degree we did meet the brief but I personally think that we could of done things that could of fit the brief more like for example, I think that we could of got an older actor to reach an older audience that it states in the brief that was given to us but we should of changed it more to fit the brief better because i felt that not everything met the brief. We added in some of our own stuff to create less humor but it was to make the character do a commercial that he did not want to do and make him admit that the normal oil does not work and backstage he talks to the camera telling people to buy Quaker oil which is the clients Oil.


What went wrong? some of the days got mixed up and a few equipment was lent out when though we booked the equipment ahead and when we went to pick the equipment up not everything we need was there so we had to film what we could then re-schedule another day to film with all of the equipment. also because we were filming in a small bathroom we had to keep stopping and starting because of the public coming in the use the toilets and we didn't want to be creepy and stage in with the camera and so we waited outside of the toilets until they was finished. also some of the shots were not fully focused which annoyed me because when I played the footage back on the camera everything looked good but when we put it on the computer we saw it wasn't fully focused.

Any peer review information - One of my friends said that the group and I needed to make sure that the camera was more in focus and to fix the green screen if we did it next time
